27th July to the 11th August – First World War Creative Activities

We will be running two special Art Award Sessions based on our First World War collections and our new ‘Everybody’s Darling’ Exhibition, which will be at the museum from the 8th July to the 13th August. 

27th July & 3rd AugustFirst World War Art Award (10 packs available on each day)   Earn your ‘Discover’ Certificate at the museum by completing our activities.   Packs are £5.00 each from our shop and activities linked to the stories of pilots and nurses. The Museum has recently become a centre for the Arts Awards and is looking forward to running these special sessions.  

Free Family Fun.  We will also have our usual selection of free family activities on a First World War theme between 11am and 2pm during these weeks.

 14th August to the 1st September – Animal Antics

Drop into the Education Room (Monday – Friday (11.00-14.00) and try your hand at some animal based craft activities linked to our Animals from the Archive Display.   These activities are FREE with your admission charge.
