As a consequence of the measures in force to minimise the impact of Coronavirus (Covid -19), our Outreach Officer is currently unable to travel to you to provide workshops and pop up museum activities. However, we are taking bookings from September onwards until July 2021. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our mailing list and once we reopen we will get back in touch. For existing bookings, please contact our Outreach officer at the above email address and we will endeavour to reschedule for another date once we reopen. Details of our outreach activities can be found below. In the meantime, however, we are able to offer virtual Outreach Sessions - for details click here.
Look out for our Outreach team at events and venues later in the the year. Our pop up museum will be showcasing items from the museum collection along with fun activities for all the family. We will be offering workshops and talks for adult community groups, adult learners, and family learning groups. The outreach workshops involve handling real museum objects, as well as a range of art and craft activities.

Pilots On Parade
Are you a knitter, stuck at home and looking for something to keep you busy? The Army Flying Museum needs help with our project to
knit a soldier for our next community display in our Apache Cafe. We are inviting people to help knit a troop of mini soldiers. The knitted soldiers will go on parade later in 2020. You can either use the 1940s pattern which you can download here, or you are welcome to create your own or use other patterns. We are unable to receive your contributions whilst the museum is temporarily closed but please send them to us when we reopen. In the meantime, we would love to receive photos for our online gallery below. Please email them to: Outreach@armyflying.com
