80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain

Are  your class fascinated by all things spitfire? We are delighted to announce that we have a unique online program and resource especially written for schools available this October and November. 

This is special session to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the part that the men and women stationed at Middle Wallop played 80 years ago.  Find out was it like to be a pilot flying these fantastic aircraft in dogfights against the enemy high above us.

The session will include a special schools recording by aviation historian Paul Beaver.  Paul is the Vice President of the Spitfire Association and also one of the Army Flying Museum’s Board of Directors.   Paul will also be available  to answer your pupils questions at a  live online  Q&A session especially for schools in October and November ( Date to be Confirmed)

There will also be the opportunity for your pupils to enter a colouring competition judged by Philip West, a fantastic aviation artist.  The templates for this, along with lots of other fun resources will be available to schools to download when they sign up for this special session.  Click here to find out more about Philip and see some examples of his work .
