The Museum holds an extensive collection charting over 100 years of the British Army in the air. With over 35 fixed wing and rotary aircraft on display, the Museum is the perfect place to explore the fascinating history of army aviation.

The Museum regularly holds public events suitable for all ages. A diverse lecture programme takes place throughout the year featuring experts, veterans and historians, as well as our school holiday programme ‘Arts & Aircrafts’ and other fun family events.

The Apache Cafe

Open daily from 9am to 4pm

The Apache Café is open daily to 4pm and you do not need a Museum ticket to visit. The Café serves a varied menu including tradition British breakfasts, jacket potatoes, homemade cakes and daily specials


The Memorial

Project Eagle Phase 1

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Army Air Corps the Museum commissioned and opened a Memorial at the Museum to the 5,127 soldiers who had died in the service of the British Army Flying.

The names of all those listed on The Memorial are in the online Memorial book.
